Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Have Pain In Stomach, Nausea, Loose Stool, Tired And No Appetite. Healing Time?
I am in my 20 s and today, all of the sudden I am so nausiated. I threw up and have the worst pain in my stomach that moved to my intestines. I had very loose stools and now that is gone with only blood and tissue coming out. I am so tired and still have the pain and no appetite . Will this clear up in a day? do I need to go to a clinic?
Your pain is of concern to me and I will suggest that you immediately get medical attention. It is better that you go to emergency room where all the appropriate investigations and treatment can happen.
From your history I am suspecting some intestinal obstruction. There can be other possibilities too like ulcer in some part of the gut, etc. Such types of symptoms usually need urgent medical attention. In some cases such symptoms may resolve. But to wait for them to resolve is not a good idea.
The attending physician may do some physical examination and investigations to confirm the diagnosis. The investigations may include some blood tests, ultrasonography or CT scan of abdomen etc. The investigations may also include some invasive tests like barium enema.
It is better to not eat or drink anything until you see a doctor.
I hope that I answered your query
Thanks
