Hello doctor. My husband had his ankle leg operated 4 months ago due to piece of wood pierced his leg. Operation successful and hospitalised for more than 2 months. But now he feels severe pain on his leg and his waist. Very painful. Please advise what's the cause of it. Am worried
I would suggest you to show it to surgeon again as pain in the leg can be due to infection so that can be one reason, Back pain can be due to your husband is not able to walk properly and that is why putting abnormal weight on that side. I would also suggest you to get blood investigation ESR, CRP. I hope that there is no pus or any fluid is coming out of the wound as you have not mentioned any.
