Have Osteoarthritis. Taken Proparacaine For Bursitis And Tendonitis. What Does Tropicamide Do?

I have moderate to severe osteo arthritis! And had both hips injected in 2 similar locations 2 days ago with:
Proparacaine, 0.5%, which I recognize by the "Caine" ending as the numbing part of the injection. Also,
Tropicamide, 1% was injected to solve the painful issues of bilateral bursitis and tendonitis. I can't find any information on tropicamide, except ophthalmically. So, what does Tropicamide do for hips? Is it a steroid?
I haven't read all of the terms and conditions. If there is a fee involved, I need to go back to my rheumatologist with these queries, and I'll say, thank you anyway. If there is o charge, thank you for looking into my question.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Tropicamide is not a steroid. It is used for local injection in the hip for its anti inflammatory properties. This is likely to cause a relief in your pain in next few weeks.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
