Have Multiple Sclerosis, Severe Pain, Muscle Spasms. Will Blocks In Sacral Joints Help?

I have MS and am in a wheelchair. I am having severe pain when I walk say 15 . When I stand or bend over some, I start having muscle spasms. The spasms get so bad, my husband has to rub term while I am getting back to my chair. The doctor wants me to see another doctor to gave blocks in the sacral joints. Will this help? I already gave a vascular necrosis in both hips and had a total hip replacement a year ago. Thanks so much.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The blocks in the sacral joints are likely to reduce the muscle spasms that you are having. This is not likely to reduce the hip pain that you might be having due to necrosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
