Have Metatarsal Broken, Experiencing Pain, Tingling, Swelling, Bruising On Foot. Is This Normal?

hi i have metatarsel number 2, 3. 4 broke its been five weeks i still experience alotof pain when i try to put any pressure on my foot it feels like the arch of my foot flattens out and is excruciating i have alot of tingling swelling and bruising my foot has gotten a red discoloration in the last week or so i cannot move my toes or bend my ankle is this normal for five weeks?

Thanks for writing to HCM

You didn't mentioned type of fracture and what sort of treatment you received.
Cast was applied or surgical intervention was done.
At present, you need X-ray of foot in AP/Oblique view to assess fracture status.
You should also contact orthopaedician.
Treatment depends upon recent X-ray findings.
