Have Metal Rod In Leg. Cracking Hands, Hurts To Rub Fingers
Hi, I had a metal rod put in my leg on March 10th, 2012. I do not know if it is causing the problem but here is the issue I am having. My hands are now severely cracking. I do not have finger prints now. They are cracked so bad now my skill is down to the layer that it hurts now when I rub my fingers. Sort of like when you break a blitter after you burn your hands.

It seems you are having exfoliation.
It can be due to stress,vitamin deficeincy,etc.
Start applying a good emolient.
Emolene cream is a good option for it and prescribed routinely.
You can also take multivitamin tablets for 10 to 15 days.
