Have Menstrual Cramps, Lower Back Pain And Soreness In Vagina, Due For Periods. Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hi I m 19 and my period is due the 13 of this month my last period started on Jan 10, for the last week I ve have menstrual like cramps , and my lower back has been in pain. Theres a bit of soreness in my vaginal area. What could be causing the cramps and soreness? I also had unprotected sex on the 19 and 26 of Jan. Could I be pregnant or is this just signs that my period is coming soon.

Hi there,
Thank you for posting your question. I will do my best to help you.
Usually, ovulation occurs on 14th day of the cycle and menstruation on 28th-30th day of cycle ( one is likely to conceive if Intercourse happens during 12 to 14 days of the menstrual cycle).
First day of the cycle is to be calculated from the day 1 on your period (day 1 will be day one of the cycle)

Dont be alarmed. There are home tests for pregnancy -preg card test kits available over the counters which you can take as early as in 2weeks after conception. Please purchase a pregnancy kit and test.
If its negative you can test again after 2- 3 days & reconfirm .
If unsatisfied, kindly consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation &advise.
Best regards,
Dr.Sushma
