Have Memory Loss, Cannot Remember Short Term Events. Heart Patient, Diabetic

hi my father has some sort of problem sometime he just goes blank and does not respond to what we ask him after 15 mins or so he becomes normal and then he cannot remember what had happened. Recently he slept while shaving form on his face, when he woke up he could not remember how he got in bed. He is heart patient and he is diabetic as well. Kindly suggest

Dear it seems that your father suffer from vascular dementia.Dont worry on 21-th century there are a lot of way to treat these symptoms.You should consult a neurologist, do an brain examination and than start treatment.You should be carefull from hypoglicemia.Always see the level of glicemia when your father seems lost.Wish you all the best
