Have Lung Cancer. Swollen Feet And Ankles. Life Expectancy?

My husband has lung cancer - diagnosed September 2012 - refused treatment ie chemo or surgery - last two weeks his feet and ankles have becoming swollen and I think it might be progressing up the leg - my step daughter lives in England - we live in Canada - I am trying to get some kind of an idea of how much longer he might be with us in order to advise her as to whether she should be coming back to Canada soon

Hi,
Lung cancer can be treated to some extent at early stage even at advanced stage quality of life can be improved. Treatment depends on stage. Lung cancer does not spread to leg.Probably other causes of leg swelling like cardiac renal and hepatic causes are to be ruled out first. Consult your oncologist.
