General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

From your description, it sounds to me like this could be either of the following conditions:
-Bartholin's cyst
-Ingrown hair
-Folliculitis

I thus request you to visit your doctor who will physically examine you, especially the location of this lump, which will surely help in confirming the diagnosis, and treatment will be directed from thereon. Which in my opinion is very effective and simple. I am sure you shall be fine soon.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
