Have Lump In Forearm And Puncture Wound On Arm Due To Accident. Should I Be Concerned?
I was recently in an ATV accident. This accident occurred October 12th and today is October 29th. I received a large, golf ball sized lump in my right forearm along with a puncture wound on the side of my upper left arm. Around the puncture wound is also a lump. There is no signs of infection at either site. The skin appears to have hardened a little within the lumps and the size has only diminished slightly. Should I be concerned or is this part of the natural healing process? Also, how long should I expect these lumps to remain visible under normal circumstances?
hi. seems to be soft tissue injury, may be a hematoma. The hematoma will resolve on its own with time in another few days. As you said that their is no sign of infection and if the lump is not tender to touch then it should resolve with time.
