Hi, If you are having pruritus in in perineal, buttock and groin areas from long time without any skin lesion, you should be investigsted for particular cause.. Like anaemia, thyroid dysfunction, DM, renal or hepatic disease, any endocrinal disease, HIV, malignancy... etc . If no cause is found, psychiatric evaluation should be done. Psychiatric help should be taken. Long course of antihistaminics, antipsychotics and short course of steroid in tappering dose will be helpful.Avoid fermented food, fish, prawns etc.. Avoid soap bath. Take dettol bath. Be cool.. You will be alright... Best wishes
