Have Itching And Tingling In Scrotum. Taken Medication For Yeast Infection. No STD. What Is It?

6 years ago I suddenly developed an intense itch and irritating tingle on my scrotum.. After itching intensely for a week or so, I finally went to see a physician who assumed that I was either having an allergic reaction to the detergent I used on my underwear or that I had a yeast infection...He prescribed me a potent medication for yeast infections (which I knew wasn't the problem) and I changed my detergent to a hypo allergenic, sodium free soap.. Neither helped ! It seemed to have gotten more intense during certain seasons of the year, I also noticed the tingle, or sensation of intense itch would flair up on a 3 to 4 hour cycle...so even at night when I am sleeping, it will wake me up, and because of the frequency of flair ups, I can even tell you what time it is without looking at a clock. I don't have any STD's, I have tried changing things in my diet and I have tried everything I have researched that could possibly be the solution to getting rid of it.. I have also developed, as a result of pinching and scratching, which is the only means of relief, inflamed hair follicles or pores.. One has hardened and seemingly grown internally the size of a pecan..? I am in misery and no doctor seems to have a clue or keep giving me wrong suggestions about what it is? I have also noticed that the rest of my body has increasingly become more sensitive as well. If I am barely scratched by something I whelp up and itch and sometimes my skin just randomly itches on my arms and legs and stomach and back to the point where I get bumps or hives.. I use lotions to assure my skin isn't dry, but lotions don't help either! I don't do drugs, don't eat fast foods, I am CLUELESS !! Have you a clue?

Hi, it appears to be due to allergy to the cloth of the underwear, any how i advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe citrizine 1 at bed time, fluconazole, and grisofulvin BD, and ketokonazole soap for taking bath, for temporary relief till you consult a dermatologist. Thank you.
