Have Itchiness On Toes And Pain When Feet Is Elevated. Had Toe Nail Surgery. Reason?

My neighbor is 78 years old and has gout . She had ingrown toe nail surgery about a week ago. She has expressed feeling pain and occasional sharp shooting pain when she goes to bed. She has also has an itching sensation on her toes. She has applied antibotics ointments as directed and toes do not appear to be infected. What caused the pain when the feet are elevated? What do you recommend?

Hi,
It seems that due to not having full healing of the wound and having some sore soft tissue might be giving this problem.
Wait till complete healing of wound and he will be alright.
Ok and take care.
