Have Irregular Periods, Ovulation Kit Suggested Ovulation. On Susten. Help?
Hi, I generally have irregular periods.. I got my last period on Jan 16.. But my preg tests came negative.. I went to my doctor on 19th of March.. She took a scan and told that i cud have possibly ovulated on the 18th.. And she asked me to have contact on the 19th.. She also gave me susten 300 for ten days.. my ovulation kit still predicts that i am ovulating, when i tested today? is it poss? And why Susten 300

Susten contains progesterone .
It helps to sustain pregnancy and prevents abortion to some extent.
Ovulation kit works on LH surge. it remains positive only for 48 hrs.
In your case if it is still positive, it indicates you have high LH levels which is usually seen in PCOS women.

Ovulation kit basically measures hormonal levels in urine. Leutinising hormone rises to peak during ovulation and reduces slowly. so your test will be positive for few days after ovulation.
Susten is a hormone which is given in early pregnancy to prevent missed abortion. its a progesterone which helps to continue pregnancy, if taken for few weeks doesn't cause any side effects.
effect of drug is more with vaginal use, you can also use orally or rectally.
