First of all, I suggest you to undergo one home pregnancy test or a blood test for beta HCG to check pregnancy status as very light bleeding with late period may indicate implantation bleeding. You may require to do one TVS scan in case of positive test.

In exclusion of pregnancy, you may need to do some investigations to rule out other pathology like thyroid profile & other hormone assay etc. Consult with your doctor and take suggestive measures.

Avoid stress / anxiety, take healthy diet with iron & vitamin supplements and maintain genital hygiene properly.
