Have Hypothyroidism, Periods Stopped, White Discharge, Home Pregnancy Test Negative. What Should I Do?

Hi, I am 42 and have no kid. I have hypothyroidism also. I had my periods regularly till last month, my last period was due on 21st April 2012, but it has not come till date(4th May 2012) and there is little white discharge also. I took a home test through Preganews on 3rd May that was negative. Pl advice me what should I do.

Hello mam, in my opinion you should get your hormones tested. TSH to see for optimal dose of thyroxine and FSH for seeing if menopause is about to set in. As in your case most probable cause is menopause or need for alteration in the dose of thyroxine. All the best.
