Have Hypertension And Diabetes. Taking Losartan, Coreg. Have Sweating, Dizziness. Due To Medicine?

I am a 59 year old male having hypertension and diabetes. About a month ago my Micardis HCT 80-12.5 mg was switched to Losartan -HCTZ 50-12.5 mg. I am also taking Spironoloctone, Aspiring (81 mg), Coreg (80 mg). Yesterday I got an excessive sweating (mostly when I laid down) and dizziness. Today I was driving and everything was fine. However, it started again when I laid down. I saw my PCP today and she advised me that I had a slow pulse and change my Coreg to 20 mg. My blood pressure today was 160/100 and the sugar level was 239 in the morning, 146 in the evening (I took a new pill Jentadueto - my first diabetic pill). Is it possible that I got it from Losartan? I read about side effect from this medication and found my simptoms. Thank you.

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
The side effect of LOsartan is dizziness ( beside others).
Hydrochlorothiazide and spironolactone are most potent diuretics , causes excessive fluid loss, hence more dizziness.
Excessive sweating was due to dizziness.
Your blood sugar level is very high.
In my opinion your diabetes and blood pressure are not under control.
Consult one more physician and get his opinion ( 2nd ).
