Have hyperpigmentation, pain and swelling on lower legs and forearms. What is this?

Hyper-pigmentation noted on lower legs and forearms appeared suddenly. At the end of a 12hr shift my thighs and upper legs become mottled and the brown spots on midcalf to ankle are exaggerated. My legs and feet are swollen and they hurt, there s tautness at the lateral ankles. Do I need to see a cardiologist? What is this?

Thanks for the query.
hyperpigmentation with pain and swelling denotes vascular insufficiency.
You need to meet a vascular surgeon.
A doppler of veins may be required.
