Have High Pulse, Unable To Sleep, Still Effects, Noticed Taking Coffee
I have an abnormally high pulse 90 instead of my normal 60. Even with some exercise, I am unable to raise the heart rate. I couldn't sleep all night because of this and I am still feeling the effects. I have only felt like this once before when I had too much coffee however i did not have any stimulants yesterday such as coffee and haven't had any today either.
Hello, thanks for the query to H.C.M.
Heart rate if 60 & regular means nothing abnormal.
Sudden increase in heart beat without any stimulants or provocation is a cause of concern.
This is a clear indication pointing towards a heart disease
When some stimulants ( as in excess amount of coffee you had earlier) present in body due to any reason, has been associated with increased risk of coronary artery disease via elevation of lower density lipoprotein ( LDL).
Earlier oily components of coffee were responsible for this condition.
Now these are itself in body
So please don't take it lightly and get in blood examination for LIPID profile and deal accordingly.
Regards. Dr. HET
