Have High BP, Hypothyroidism, Depression. Taking Levothyroxine, Metoprolol, Sertraline. Have Chest Pain, Slow Pulse

Hello, I am a 47 year old female w/high blood pressure, hypothyroidism and depression. I currently take Levothyroxine, 125 mcg, metoprolol, 50 mg. and sertraline 100 mg (or mcg?). I just recently was prescribed the metoprolol because Atenolol wasn't working, and my levothyroxine was increased from .25 mcg to 125 mcg. I've had chest pains - not constant, for about 3 weeks. Not sure if it's the medication or a muscle strain from a new exercise I tried for my arms about 3 weeks ago. Also, my pulse is slow - about 58. Any suggestions?

Hello ma'am,
Thanks for your inquiry
You have High BP, hypothyroidism, Depression
For BP - initially Tab Atenolol, Now metoprolol 50 mg (both are having virtually the same effect)
For hypothyroidism - initially levothyroxine 25 mcg, now 125mcg
For depression - sertraline 100 mg
Continue all the tabs regularly. For any change of tab you have to consult the Dr. Regarding your present complaints do all routine investigations + TSH + lipid profile + ECG to assess your current position and dosage schedule.
Considering the low pulse rate - it is low because of hypothyroid
Avoid vigorous exercises. Instead you can go for a walk.
Find ways to reduce the depression and with the consultation of the Dr try to reduce the dosage of sertraline 100 mg
Otherwise you are normal for your age. Try to lead a happy life.
I hope that you understand
With warm regards
