Your condition is called
tuberculosis and nowadays it is a curable disease. The treatment takes very long time (usually 9 months or more) and surely your doctor told you to visit him again in the end of the first month. As with any medication there may be side effects which include
skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, breathing problems, feeling faint or lightheaded, falls, fever or chills, mouth sores, or
sore throat, pinpoint red spots on the skin (this is petechiae),
abdominal pain, trouble passing urine or change in the amount of urine, unusual bleeding, bruising, feeling unusually weak or tired, yellowing of the eyes or skin (this is jaundice). The most common reactions are diarrhea,
dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting. Your life is not at risk using this medication unless you're allergic to one or more of it's components, but I pressume you are not since you already started the treatment. Treatment of tuberculosis takes lots of time but if you follow your doctor's directions, you should be better in a metter of months.
