Have Had Frequent Skin Abscesses, Swollen Nodes. Reason?
Hello I am a 28 yr old female. I have genital herpes and usually I only get 2 outbreaks a year. Well I have had 5 outbreaks in the past 2 months . I was sick with a cold last month and also I had a abcessed tooth last month as well. It caused my face to swell up and neck lymph nodes to swell . Then for no reason I had one of my armpit nodes swell ( no arm or finger injury ) . Within the past two months I have had 3 skin abcesses 2 on face and one on stomach. When I washed an abcessed tooth I was on amoxicillin , and augmentin . Thn after that my armpit node got big and painful, and after that went down I had the skin abcesses. Now I m having another very bad outbreak on my anus and have a large very painful groin swollen node. What is happening to me?

You're suffering from multiple abscess. The sources of infection may be the tooth abscess.
You may need a pus culture and sensitivity.
Based on the report an effective antibiotics has to be chosen and as to be taken for long duration.
If the abscess are big then incision and drainage of the abscess has to be done.
