Have Had Diarrhea, Blood Investigations Reveal Low TSH, Heamoglobin, Had Thyroidectomy. Stomach Or Thyroid Issue?
Thyroidectomy 5 years ago now for cancer. Stable on levoxyl 200mcg since. The past few months I have had serious diarrhea after every meal, my samples are normal. My blood shows my TSH levels are suddenly low and so are my hemoglobin. My Dr. scheduled to see a gastro specialist this Monday. I was wondering if it was a stomache issue or a thyroid issue??

Hi,
Yes, it could be related to thyroid. Hyperthyroidism caused by the external thyroid hormone supplements.
Also it is necessary to rule out gastro intestinal issues which can cause diarrhea.
