Have Greenish Thick Mucus In Nose, Smell Of Rotten Egg. Diagnosed As Sinusitis. Did Not Take Medicine

Since December last year one day I woke up with a greenish thick mucus in my nose that really smelled bad, almost like rotten eggs. To this day sometimes I wake up with this mucus . Its only on the left nostril it feels stopped up. I went to the doctor in march and they said it was sinusitis. They gave me a prescription but I never got it. It was too high and I don't have health insurance.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, a unilateral foul smelling discharge in an adult is indicative of sinusitis. Please take a course of antibiotics with mucolytics and nasal decongestants. Do take hot water steam. If the things do not improve, see an ENT and you may need a CT scan PNS. Regards
