Have flu again and again. Why does head hurt when I blow my nose?

hello, its winter season here and i have been getting flu again and again but 2 days ago i got earache in my left ear it was really bad pain. i took some pain killers and i got better but my ear got blocked(can still hear but not properly) then after 1 hour it started to ache in my other ear and it also got blocked. i have no pain but both my ears are blocked from 2 days. i tried ear drops but nothing works. also when bend down i get pain in my head , when i blow my nose i also get blood sometimes. any suggestion other than going to doctor please?

Hi and thanks for the query,
Probably both of your ears are infected.
You are also suffering from sinusitis hence you get pain whenever you bend down.
You can use any over the counter nasal decongestant like otrivin.
You can follow instructions on the scrimp for using otrivin.
After putting the drops give a gap of ten minutes and do steam inhalation for 10 minutes.
Repeat the procedure 3 times daily for 5 days.
Otrivin helps to decongest your nose and helps drain your sinuses.
It also helps to unclog the eustachian tubes which in turn helps to control the ear infection.
Drink plenty of water and blow 2 balloons daily. It helps to open your eustachian tubes.
If you do not feel better in 2 more days then you have to go to the doctor.
