Any postmenopausal bleeding has to be investigated carefully- whether it is from vagina (uterine opening) or from urethra
opening). And both the bleedings are something which need attention from a good gynaecologist for sure. Does she have pain in lower abdomen, pain in lateral sides of back or burning pain while passing urine? Does she have fever? or chills? Two important chances can be urinary tract infection
or bleeding per vagina under investigation.
Sugars are really high and she needs to increase the medication doses as she might have been taught by her health care providers. Else, take her to a good physician who will certainly look into both the problems. If she has urinary tract infection then controlling sugars must be a priority to avoid spread of infection further.
In short, DO NOT IGNORE HER BLEEDING. Take care of her sugars. Do not worry as matters can be under control if investigated and treated early. She should be able to take care of you as well. All the best for your delivery. Take care.
