Have Diabetes And Hypertension. Taking Lipitor For High Cholesterol. Am I At A High Risk For Stroke Or Heart Attack?

I have diabetes in very early stage with hereditary disposition,take 1 metformin and last lab was at 5.8. I also have high bp but is controlled with meds 122/80 and then high cholestrol take 40mg lipitor . I am 47,5 1 and 160 lbs. My blood work just came back at total 177 am I at high risk for a heart attack or stroke now?

You have positve family history ,diabetic and hypertensive your report of sugar is reasonable also check PPBS blood pressure by drugs . But you are over weight reduce your weight follow good life style No smoking and no alcohol as far as possible less stress regular walking or any form of exercise swiming of cycling will help to keep you fit. keep lipid profile with in desirable limits.Pay attention to diet as advised to you. Yes as compared to normal persons risk is little more but with above measures one can live normally without worry.
