Have Damaged Tooth In The Middle Of Sinus. Worried Of Getting Extracted. What To Do Now?
I had a root canal on upper molar on a crowned tooth at end of 4 teeth bridge. I have had several crowns needing root canals but this one is in middle of sinus. Very low sinus on that side and I am so scared about having it extracted in future if need be because I cannot keep on redoing all my dental work. Who should pull tooth since it could leave a hole on sinus? I am very concerned
As per your information provided, i think you concluded that tooth roots are in sinus afrer seeing the x ray. X ray is a 2 dimensional image of 3 dimensional object.so condition can be different also. Second even if it is in sinus the after removal of molar tooth your experienced dentist can close that hole immediately by raising flap giving suture. So dont be so be soscared.Relax and consult a good dentist.
Hello and welcome to hcm,
The damaged tooth in between the sinus has to be extracted based on the involvement and severity of sinus condition.
You can visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon regarding this.
Also get the other treatments done.
Maintain good oral hygiene too.
Use soft-bristled toothbrush and desensitising toothpaste to brush your teeth.
gET your teeth cleaned since chance of gingivitis is high in your case.
Include vitamin-c rich food into your diet.
Take care.
