Have cyst on my head, grew bigger, harder, white pus from it. What is wrong?

I have a cyst on my head, it only appeared about 6 months ago and has grew bigger over time. Recently it grew quite big and hard, and i felt pain sometimes where it was. Last night i realised the size had gone down, my hair was damp around the area. It was weeping, and didnt smell too pleasant. It has been the same tonight with like a bit of white stuff coming out. Im worried what it is and how to get rid of it

The most likely diagnosis is a sebaceous cyst. This is not serious. It is a cyst that can enlarge and become inflamed. They are common on the scalp. They contain a whitish material that can ooze out. They may become inflamed or infected in which case they can weep a bit and feel painful.
I would suggest a visit to your doctor, but this does not need to be urgent. Your doctor will then be able to advise you on whether it may be worth getting it removed. This would be a minor procedure which can sometimes be carried out under local anaesthesia.
