Have Cough After Recovering From Flu. Why Am I Coughing Green Mucus?
For a week now iv had this cough after beinG ill with the flu it makes me feel rather sick and I do wrech as if to throw up. Iv been to my doctor and she said its just a cough I don t have an infection. But it doesn t exsplain why I cam coughing up dark green mucas. Please help as this is very upseting and uncormfortable

Most of the times after a viral infection people who are genetically predisposed develop a hyperreactive airway and hence the cough and mucus.
Green color mucus can be seen in allergic inflammation however if u have fever also then u should do a sputum study on your sputum as this can harbour pseudomonas infection
