Have Colored Bumps In Different Areas Of Body, Itchy, Contagious. Cause And Cure?

I Have Very Small Flesh Colored Bumps That Continue to Pop Up In Different Areas Of My Body. They Started Out On My Arm And Have Spread To My Legs, Ankles, Stomach, Thighs, And Back. They Itch Very Badly And Seem To Be Somewhat Contagious. And Simply Because It Seems To Be Contagious I don t Think It s An Allergic Reaction Of Any Kind. It Also Doesn t Look Like Eczema At All. these Bumps Are Very Annoying And I m Stumped Because Nothing I Have Found Online Sounds The Same As What I Have. Please Help.

Hi,

welcome to HCM.

After reading your problem there are following possibilities:

1. Lipoma – fatty tissue collection under the skin

2. Fibroma is a benign tumor primarily composed of fibrous and connecting tissues.

3. Sebaceous cyts: collection of fatty (keratinous) substance that resembles cottage cheese

But in none of these three conditions we find itching to be a prominent symptom, as all of these are asymptomatic conditions.

A 4th condition worth mentioning is scabies which is contagious infection by a mite causing severe itching as you described but it does not represent itself as Flesh Colored Bumps described by you.

In your part there is something which is missing. You need detailed examination by dermatologist or surgeon. Even if there is some confusion a simple biopsy will give us the best of diagnosis.
Please do give us a follow up.

Hope this helps,

With best wishes for your health
