Have Chest Tightness Around The Area Of Sternum. What To Do?

I recently had a chemical echo and the cardio asked me if i had a heart attack? Taken back by the question and answered in the negative. After leaving i remembered that when doing yardwork 2 months prior to the test i did have chest tightness around the area of my sternum . I thought i was dehydrated, drank a gatoraide and within a few minutes the tightness wir Th pain subsided? What should i do - i advised the dr., the office staff just thought it was a shadow and i m over reacting. Am i?

The doctor must have asked the question just as a part of the history and if there was any prior cardiac problem.
Its difficult to say whether you had a heart attack 2 months earlier but as the symptoms got better in some time i dont think it was.
Get the 2d echo to a cardiologist and ask for his opinion.
