Have burning sensation and swelling on penis after intercourse. Prevention?

Hi, my penis starts burning after few minutes of having sexual intercourse. I develop swelling mostly around the head of the penis and then peeling of the skin in the same area a day later. This happened at the beginning of my relationship with my wife 7 years ago and then it stopped. It started again few months ago and it seems more severe. Any ideas of what this is and how to prevent it? Thank you.

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed what is termed as Balanitis.(Infection of glans Of the Penis)
There is possibility this infection due to intercourse with your wife who may be having vaginal infection .
Get her examined by qualified Gynaecologist.and for treatment if necessary.
Both of you will have to take antibiotics like Doxycycline along with some pain killer like Brufen 400 mg daily This is available over the counter of a medical stores.
