Have Brown Spots On Palm Of Hands. Appears When Stressed. Heals After Picking Them. Advice?
Yes thank you. I have been having small little brown spots that look like little freckles that appear on the palms of my hands especially if I am under an unusual amount of stress. When I use a sterile needle and pick them off the depth of them reminds me of a wart but its not warts. After I pick them they heal up in a couple of days but if I don't pick them they would just stay there. They only appear when I am extremely stressed. Do you have any idea what this could be? You have problem of brown spots appearing in response to stress. But there no medical explanation of such spots in response to stress. Still the spots may be due to some allergy or hypersensitivity reaction. In response to allergy these spots may be appearing and when you pick them they disappear. Or other reason may be some form of Anxiety in which individual develop feeling like nail biting, hair plucking or like in your case spot picking. There may be possibility that the spots are present before anxiety also but in stages of anxiety you notice them more ofter. For spots I would like to advise you to take dermatological opinion. If dermatologic opinion comes normal then visit a Psychiatrist for expert opinion.
