Have Been Cold, Freezing In Morning. What Is The Reason?

I am almost 40 years old, but ever since I was a teenager I have been extremely cold in the mornings. 99% of mornings (even in the middle of summer) I will wake up freezing and turn the heat on full blast. I then sit in front of the heat vent and sleep staying warm. What could be the possible reasoning for this? My now 8 year old son done the same thing in the middle of the night last night and it is starting to make me wonder!

Hi
Thanks for writing to hcm.
Feeling excess cold could be related to thyroid deficiency or anemia.
Do get investigated with complete blood count and thyroid profile.
Regards
Dr Arun
