Have Bad Spams During Sleep

Hello, i was wondering if you could help me, some nights when i go too bed i get bad spasms in my head, they only last for a few seconds but are very painful, when they start i get them every 3 - 4 minutes and can go on for a few hours, they calm down if i sit up.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
The fact that the headache changes in its severity with posture suggests that there is a musculoskeletal reasons for the headache. The headaches of migraine and tension headache may not change with the position. You may need a MRI of the neck to see if there is any vertebral cause for the headache. Many times, there is compression of inter vertebral nerves leading to such pains on lying down.
