Have Back Pain. Passing Blood With Stools. Have Had Stools. Suggest

I went for a massage a few weeks ago, the massage was a little heavy handed and I felt a bit of pain when the pressure was on the side of middle back area. I came out of the massage fine...

it has been three weeks since then I still feel the pain in that general area. Ti be precise right at the point of "V" between the spine and the rib cage.

I am also passing blood with stool, not sure if this is related as I have had piles in the past and have had history of passing blood with stool periodically.

This time I am concerned as it has been almost 2 weeks and neither of the symptom is giving up. Today is the first day in almost two weeks I did not pass blood with stool.

Anys advise is appreciated...

Hi,
Thank you for the query.
Likely the back pain you have is muscular type. It may take some time to settle. Mild muscle relaxants may help if pain is severe along with rest.
Blood in the stools if separate form it and associated with hard stools is likely to be piles. Do not strain, can take some stool softeners like liquid paraffin available over the counter. Increase in water and fiber intake will also help for sure. If still bleeding persists need to be evaluated.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
