Have Abnormal Uterine Prolonged Bleeding. Removed Cervix, Uterus And Fallopian Tubes. Will It Affect Sexual Life?

I have abnormal uterine bleeding (half the month with prolonged bleeding) and my surgeon wants to remove my cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes. I have never had children and my hormone MD doesn't think I should have my cervix removed since I've never had a negative pap and for chance of prolapse. As well, removing the cervix might affect sexual pleasure possibly. What is your advice?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, the reason for abnormal uterine bleeding is anemia, infection, anxiety, etc. I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe fluconazole, ofloxacin, ornidazole, and hematinics. Thank you.
