Have A Swollen Lip On Urethra Of Penis. Irritating, Sore To Touch. Applied Creams, Ointments. Nothing Worked. Treatment?

hi i have a swollen lip at the entrance of my urethra of my penis since i was a teenager i didnt know it wasnt normal until i was around 23 or so since it never really bothered me much but past year or soo i have found it quiet irritating and sore to touch and my urine sometimes sprays out also makes it challenging to wipe after the toilet due to it hurting upon contact.....i have seen many doctors in my area but they all havnt told me what it is and what caused it they just gave me ointments and creams to get rid of it but none of them have worked.
i want to get this sorted out as soon as possible because it is effecting my enjoyement of life, my self esteem and enjoyement when having sex due to the discomfort

hi, what you describe may be a skin condition (BXO) which begins on the glans or the urethral opening and involves itching, burning and scaling with drying of skin. initially it is limited to skin outside (glans), later can involve skin of urethra (mucosa) and cause poor stream or splaying. get checked by a dermatologist or urologist. donot apply anything other than nivea/ponds cream (bland creams are best, antibiotic/antiseptics may cause further irritation). at times steriod creams can help. take care.
