Respected Ma m Thanks for writing to us. Since you had a stent and obviously coronary artery disease you must continue to receive a lipid lowering drug preferably a Statin. I am not a proponent of ezetemibe and this drug is not being used in my country by most of cardiologist. This drug has never been proved to reduce mortality and was associated with some serious side effects in some trials. Moreover since you have side effects I would recommend consulting your cardiologist and choosing a different statin. Sincerely Sukhvinder
