Have A Cut In The Leg Which Is Swollen And Painful?

My daughter cut her toe sometime yesterday and it's been getting more tender. She woke up about 45 minutes ago because it was really hurting. It's swollen and I'm putting hydrogen peroxide on it trying to clean it. I don't see anything stuck in there but it's more swollen than earlier today, it's red, and warm and now there is a red line going up the side of her foot.

Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic ,

Redness surrounding the area which is cut is very normal .It is a part of defensive inflammatory process of the body.Do not worry about it.
But one serious advice to u is that pls do not go on with self dressing.Get it dressed by a qualified doctor / nurse anywhere nearby. This is because if u clean it with unsterile materials ( cotton / cloth ), this itself may cause infection which is not good. But otherwise do not worry .it should come down by 60% in about a week.
