Have A Bladder Stent Placed. Pain In The Knee. Taken Panadeine. Suggestion?

Hi my 87 year old mother had a bladder stent placed 2 weeks ago and has progressively been feeling more and more tired even exhausted. We thought it was a symptom of the stent. 2 days ago she began complaining of a pain in her knee and today is in agony its extremely sore to touch and she can't walk at all. My brother gave her panadeine forte for the pain and she is now resting but I'm concerned it may be a dvt from her inactivity these last few weeks and the exhaustion could also be from a possible dvt

Hi, the knee pain, tender ness, and agony could be due to infection and arthritis, i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.probably deep vein thrombosis has nothing to do with the present condition.
I to my patient with such pain prescribe neurotropic injections for 5 consecutive days, ofloxacin, antiinflamatories , and rubificient for local application. Thank you.
