Have MS, Irritable Bowel Syndrome And Constipation. Using Stool Softeners To Avoid Painful Stools

I have MS & irritable bowel syndrome and I suffer with the constipation side of it only. I am passing very painful stools that are covered in white tissue. I use otc stool softner but still only go once every 4 days if I am lucky or have to use an enema. I am concerned and wondering if there is something else I should be trying. Your help is greatly appreciated.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I very much appreciate your concern, of course you have to try something else rather than taking the medicine, because taking laxative, purgative, stool softener, these are harmful, and should never be tried, you can try this.
1) Drink plenty off water, even you do not feel thirsty.
2) Ear fiber containing diet
3) Go for defecation every day on same time without fail even you do not have such reflexes, go and sit there at least for half an hours, do not apply any force, does not matter if you do not pass the stool.
4) Do not be over conscious for constipation
5) Try Isabgol powder three times in day.
this will come around take care and have nice day.
