Have Fordyce Spots On Penis. No Pain. Had Follculitis. Can I Use Muprucin?

I have Fordyce spots on my penis. I've noticed that one is harder and rougher than the rest. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't look like an STD. It is just one spot. I recently had follculitis on my penis and near the public heair that went away after a few days with Muprucin. Will that work on this? Can a Fordyce spot get irritated or infected by sex, working out etc. despite no real pain or itching?

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have Fordyce spots over penis.
Penile and scrotal skin is rich in sebaceous glands compared to rest of the body skin.

Hence more prone to get sebaceous cyst due to accumulation of sebum beneath the skin.

Normally these spots fade away of their own without any treatment, however they need to be treated with antibiotic if get infected.
If you have infected cyst you may take antibiotic for a week.
