Have Acne. Hormonal Imbalance. Taking Glucophage. Are They Related?

I have a query with regard to a particular tablet I am consuming from the past one month. I have harmonal imbalance problem and hence I was been asked to take GLYCIPHAGE tablets and off late I started getting acne problem . Is it due to this tablet I am getting pimples . Do i have to continue or stop these tablets . Please suggest.

Since you haven'e mentioned the age and gender .
Spposed that you are a female patient and I am advising according to this case.
Since doctor prescribed Glyciphase ( metformin) , this is a very popular drug in P C O D cases.
The acne or pimples are not due to glyciphase tablets but due to ovarian cyst.
In my opinion please consult Gynaecologist and get his opinion.
Hormonal imbalance are due to P C OD .
Alteration in F S H / L H levels.
