Has Fever, Runny Nose. Taken Paracetamol. Any Thing Else?
Hi, my daughter is 4 years 5 months. On Saturday she played snow for 1 hours came back home with fever since then she is having fever from 37 to 39 have developed some runny nose , drinks plenty of water but the fever is not leaving her till today it means she is having fever for six days what can I do for her? As I am giving her paracetamol when she has high fever as 39.
Hello, Normally viral fever lasts for 3 to 5 days only and so you must take your daughter to your doctor for examination and investigations, since it is already six days of fever. There are chances that she may be suffering from some bacterial infection for which a proper anti biotic course would be required. Till you consult your doctor, give only paracetamol. Best of luck Thanks
