Has A Red Pea Size Bump. Using Orapred. Could This Be The Cause Of The Red Bump?
My 6 year old daughter has a red pea size bump with a head on it. She is currently on Orapred 10 mg for her Crohn's Disease and has needed to use deodorant since taking it because she has had increased sweat and smell. We have been using Tom's all natural with no aluminum in it. Could this be the cause of the red bump? Do we need to see the GI or Ped?

The orapred is having prednisolone which is steroid .Steroids are liable to decrease immunity.
Looking at your details the red bump can be a small abscess.For this you should consult to your pediatrician.He will help you & may prescribe a antibiotic preparation for this & may reduce the present dose of her prednisolone.
