Has RU486 And Misoprostol Worked Despite Slight Bleeding?

Hello, I took the ru486 two weeks ago and went for a follow up after 2 weeks and the sono tech stated that there is still tissue shown so i was given misoprostol 3 tablets to take again that night. i havent had too much bleeding is it possible it did not work again. How will i know if it worked?

Understand your concern
As per your history, you have incomplete abortion/retain product of conception. It should be treated by misoprostol (under observation/ after proper knowledge). Bleeding is start with in 1-2 hour after bleeding. Absent of bleeding again suggests medicine did no work. But mild bleeding in your case suggests it started working and minor bleeding will continue depend on the size of product. Again go for follow USG up after 7 days to know the status of product. IF still is there it should be treated by surgical process like D & C or by evacuation.
