Hard Lump In The Armpit. Waiting For The Ultrasound Report. Concerned
I have a lump in my right armpit, about the size of a pea no pain no skin discoloration it s hard and doesn t move I had an ultra sound today and its very pronounced there I could see it on the screen. It was a solid black round circle. Of course the tech is unable to answer any questions and said they will have a radiologist read and send results to the referring physician. This could take a few days. I m really scared I m 36 female. In the past I know what I am looking at on an ultra sound I ve had 3 children today I didn t have a clue even to easy my terrible thoughts

It is a deep bacterial infection.
The other possibility is hidradenitis suppurativa,
Dont worry both are common conditions and totally curable,
Just wait for the reports.
